I wish I knew there was help like this when I was leaving school. I have just applied for a redundancy from the Public Service and now need to go out and apply for another job - actually it will be the first time I have to apply, I've just fallen into my previous jobs, so I'll need all the help I can get. Thanks to your site, I can hopefully make the right decision. Thank you

This site is a good way to get info on resumes and stuff. But what would make it better is if you had stuff on jobs and their description, including what to study at school and a brief description of the job.

Otherwise, this is a good site! TAA!

Kim Cooney k.cooney@edn.gu.edu.au Sun Nov 9 13:14:55 EST 1997

Thank you for putting online such a fabulous resource. I found it in 1996 and printed some material from it to use with my students at school. I revisited the site today and found it has been updated. One suggestion for improvement would be to make it interactive where the students tick the boxes online then they get a summary of their possible jobs etc. Regards, Kim Cooney, Special Needs Teacher at Alexandra Hills State High School, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

This is probably one of the most instructive and informative sites of its kind on the internet. While other predators are charging astronomical fees for this same information, it is available here, free of charge. More people need this type of access to one of the most important decisions in life. Great Job!!!

I really enjoyed this website. I will be submitting a profile of myself as soon as I can write my career objective. As an educator for 11 years, my credentials are very impressive. I've received various honors, awards, and training. However, currently I am not utilizing my maximum potential and would like to change careers. I look forward to this successful decision with the use of careers online.

Thanks!

I am an Australian Migration Agent, I may be able to assist visitors to careersonline who are seeeking migrant entry to Australian in whatever category - be it tourist, business, family or any other type of visa. Australian Migration Law is very complicated and expert advice and assistance from a registered migration agent is necessary for most applications. I would be happy to giving inital advice free of charge and any obligation.

Sheryl Ewart-Sorensen sheryleann@hotmail.com Sat Jan 17 04:34:00 EST 1998

I was extremely happy to find your website, because career planning has always been my weak point. I am 27 years old and a recent graduate of the City College of NY, with a BS in psychology. I need to further my studies because you are very limited with just a BS. I know that an area involving counseling and meeting different people is necessary for me. However, I am still undecided in what particular field of psychology. Your career choices program though seemingly geared for high school students will be of great help. I look forward to completing the survey and hope that I can count on your expertise in the future. Thanks Sheryl

Hello, I am a 40 year old lady who desperatly needs a job cange. I currently do home day care and love children but have been doing this for about 10 years now and just simply need a change and more challenge. I have an interest in working with animals, domesticated or exotic. I live on 12 acres of land in Maryland, where I already have experience with about 12 different animals of my own. I also love taking pictures or amimals, people and scenery. I love to travel when I have the time and money, at the same time! Other interest include working with my hands and would consider home assembly work of various types. I have enjoyed the "Choose A Career web site" It has been fun. Thank You

It has been extremely useful in setting goals and helping me find the right direction and I have also been printing it out and mailing it to a friend who is unfortunately in jail at the moment. And I've also shown my Mum who is 51 and just left her job of 12 years! It's amazing how many people can use the information.
