RULES for Application Forms

When filling in application forms, the first thing you should do is READ every question before you write anything.

Make sure you understand what the question is asking!!!

When you have finished, check everything!

Have you answered all the questions, and have you answered them correctly and neatly?

There are several other things you should also be careful of when filling in application forms.

You should have some idea by now (if you've done the Application Letters exercises...) of some of the various things you should "avoid" and some of the things you MUST do in the various phases of your job search....

Can you now make a list of "Rules for Application Forms" which you should follow when you have a form to fill in?

How good are you with telephone applications?
