The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program at the University of St. Thomas is for individuals interested in leveraging the power of Lean and Six Sigma techniques to achieve organization-wide system improvement.
Trying to decide whether you should reduce waste or improve quality while reducing defects? The Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program focuses on combining the Lean’s efficiency and impact with variation reduction and organizational infrastructure of Six Sigma into a seamless process that any organization can use to achieve rapid improvement. Upon completion of the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program, you will have: - Implemented a Lean Six Sigma project that has produced results.
- Gained an understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology.
- Utilized Lean Six Sigma improvement models in all aspects of their business.
- Increased their contribution to an organization as their improvement efforts improve the bottom line.
The program focuses on utilizing the Six Sigma DMAIC framework and integrating the waste reduction tools of Lean through a variety of teaching methods. Cost: $8,200 (14 CEUs) per participant includes tuition, learning material and refreshments. A daily lunch will also be provided. There are no prerequisites or pre-readings to enroll in this non-degree program.
